Happy Summer

We spent the first weekend of summer at John & Mary's cabin in West Virginia. The weather was thankfully un-summer-like: cool breeze, low humidity and temps in the 70's. Bob got to go river paddling for the first time in six years! Pictured above are Mary, Courtney, Bob, John and Hugh.

Custom Desk

Bob designed and built this desk just for me. It has lots of love wrapped up in it. It even has a keyboard drawer.


This desk is an interpretation of the Greene and Greene style. It is made of black cherry from the mountains of West Virginia. Walnut was used for the inlayed buttons and splines. The desk is made from over 70 individual pieces of wood and was made during the past 2 months. This is the first desk of this type created by Bob.
