We were able to go skiing in Colorado again this year, even though Anna just started a new job and has no official vacation days (but it was negotiated as time off as part of accepting the job offer).
You never know what you'll get, but our timing was good. It's been a light snow year in that part of Colorado, but we had several days with fresh snow, reasonable temps, and generally pretty good conditions. The views from the hillside condo were jaw-dropping (like the sunset above).

We did an apres-ski walk up an intriguing road in Montezuma, on President's weekend to escape the crowded lift lines.
