We took Sylvia out on a very nice "picnic" to Fort Hunt Park. The weather was perfect: sunny, slight breeze, not too hot, and no bugs. We went after lunch, so the picnic consisted of snacking on oranges.
It was a group effort, with Stan making a ramp for the van and Bob, Anna and Dean (the aide) getting her down the stairs of the house, down the front stoop, and into the van. Well worth the effort to see Sylvia enjoy a few hours away from the house.The whole gang:
